Boat Jetty and Flamingo's, Seagulls spot in Seawoods!

Seawoods is the second most developed zone of Navi Mumbai. Vashi is the most developed zone but it is more populated and has more traffic as compared to Seawoods.
Seawoods comes in Nerul.
Before the name "Seawoods" came into existense, it was called Nerul.

Besides Jewel of Navi Mumbai and Seawoods Grand Central Mall, there is also a Boat Jetty and Flamingo's Spot to hangout with your friends and family.

1. Boat Jetty

Boat Jetty in Seawoods???
Yes, there is a boat jetty but it's closed. This is a beautiful scenic place to hangout with friends. The distance from Seawoods Railway Station is approx. 1 to 1.2 km. This boat jetty is at Karave Village, near Plam Beach road, behind T. S. Chanakya (Indian Maritime University).

There is a long pathway and this path leads to this beautiful place. The Sunset along with sea and mountain from this place is epic. When the sky is clear, you can see from here J.N.P.T Port, Uran and Vashi bridge. This is a photographers place!

There is also a huge display of ship for the training of students of T. S. Chanakya.

2. Flamingo's Spot

Flamingo's are migratory birds which comes every year in Seawoods in the summer season. They come here most probably in the month of April and May.

Flamingo's comes in such a large numbers that counting them is simply impossible. When you see them taking off to fly, it seems like they fly just like an Aeroplane!

3. Seagull

Seagulls are also spotted besides the flamingo's. These are the migratory birds moving to warmer habitats during the winter, but the extent to which they migrate varies by species. Gulls breed on every continent, including the margins of Antarctica and are found in the high Arctic, as well.

4. Place of Flamingo's and Seagulls!

This is the place where flocks n flocks of flamingo's and Seagulls come during summer season in the month of April and May.
